You will have full time to do some activities such as entry to the chambers, visiting the Sun Boat Museum, or riding a camel. Follow your guide’s steps to visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple.

Saqqara

Saqqara is located south of Cairo and is one of the most important archaeological sites in ancient Egypt.
It is famous for its pyramid complex, especially the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered the first pyramid ever built.
The area contains ancient tombs decorated with inscriptions and paintings that document the lives and burial customs of the ancient Egyptians.

Go for an enjoyable Alexandria day tour. You will start with the Catacombs. This Roman subterranean tomb dates back to the 1st century A.D. and shows the great influence of Egyptian mythology and burial customs on the Romans. Descend 75 feet to see the impressive mixture of Egyptian and Roman art. After going through the maze and complex layout of the tomb, go upstairs and enjoy the Mediterranean breeze while visiting the Fort of Qaitbay. The fort was built on Pharos Island where the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. Atop the fort, enjoy the view of the blue sea and the city of Alexandria. The Catacombs, also known as Kom El-Shaqafa Catacombs, are located in Alexandria and are one of the most important archaeological sites combining ancient Egyptian, Roman, and Greek cultures.

Qaitbay Citadel

Library of Alexandria

Philae Temple

Philae Temple is located in Aswan on an island in the Nile River and is one of Egypt’s most beautiful ancient temples. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was completely relocated to Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam to save it from flooding.

The Nubian Village

The Nubian Village is located on the banks of the Nile near Aswan and reflects the culture and heritage of the Nubian people of Egypt. Visitors can enjoy a tour among the colorful houses, learn about Nubian customs and traditions, watch traditional music and dance performances, and taste local Nubian cuisine.

Your Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your Nile Cruise early in the morning to visit the most impressive rock-cut temple, enjoying the sunrise on the way from Lake Nasser. During Aswan day tours, admire the massive temple of Ramses the Great and the temple of his wife Nefertari. On the way back, enjoy the phenomenal view of the mirage, then return to the Nile Cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the temple, then continue sailing to Edfu.

Cross the Nile to the West Bank, where the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon are located. Start with the Valley of the Kings; your guide will explain the most important stories of the site and recommend the best tombs to visit. Next, explore the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
