Take an early drive to Abu Simbel to visit the two temples of Ramses II. The village known as Abu Simbel in Aswan has the two massive rock temples of Ramses II. Explore the large temple of Ramses II dedicated to Ra-Horakhty. The smaller temple of his wife Nefertari was dedicated to Hathor. Enjoy the visit with your Egyptologist guide who will explain the history and relocation of the temple. Abu Simbel Temple
The Abu Simbel Temple is one of the greatest ancient Egyptian monuments, built by King Ramses II in the 13th century BC to honor himself and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The temple is famous for its massive rock-cut statues and was relocated in the 1960s to save it from Lake Nasser’s rising waters.

Edfu Temple
The Temple of Edfu is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and is considered one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Built during the Ptolemaic period, it reflects the grandeur of ancient Egyptian architecture and religious traditions.
We will have an early breakfast and check out of the cruise, heading to the Valley of the Kings, the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon, all located on the West side of Luxor. Start the Luxor day tour with the kings’ valley; your guide will explain the most important stories of the place and recommend the best tombs to visit. Next, explore the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Your guide will explain the history of the temple before giving you free time to explore it yourself and take pictures of the highlights. Finally, stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight at the hotel in Luxor.
The Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings in Luxor served as the royal burial ground for pharaohs of the New Kingdom. It contains more than 60 tombs, including that of Tutankhamun, adorned with colorful wall paintings depicting the journey to the afterlife.

The Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, located on the west bank of Luxor. They once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple and are famous for their impressive size and grandeur.
After having your breakfast at the hotel, visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Karnak is not just a temple; it is a complex of temples. The walls, columns, pylons, and murals tell the glorious history of the Pharaohs. With your private guide, you will receive full information about this great place of worship dedicated to Ra. Luxor Temple was once connected to Karnak through the Avenue of the Ram-headed Sphinxes. It is an impressive mixture of Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic, and Islamic periods. Once we arrive at Cairo train station, we will visit the famous Egyptian Museum, the Alabaster Mosque in the Citadel of Cairo, and the famous Khan El Khalili market, exploring the Islamic district around the marketplace. Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.
