Pyramids of Giza
The Pyramids of Giza are iconic monuments of ancient Egypt, built as tombs for Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. They showcase extraordinary engineering and remain one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world.
Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo houses the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It includes treasures from the pharaohs, such as Tutankhamun’s golden mask, statues, mummies, and objects spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history.
Upon arrival at Luxor station, you will meet your Egyptologist guide. You will see all the great attractions of Luxor. On the west side of the Nile are the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Start with the Valley of the Kings; your guide will explain the most important stories of the site and recommend the best tombs to visit. Next, explore the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Your guide will explain the history of the temple before giving you free time to explore it yourself and take photos of the highlights. Finally, stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Then, returning to the east bank, you will visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

The Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings in Luxor served as the royal burial ground for pharaohs of the New Kingdom. It contains more than 60 tombs, including that of Tutankhamun, adorned with colorful wall paintings depicting the journey to the afterlife.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, located at Deir el-Bahari on Luxor’s west bank, is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built into the cliffs, it honors one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs and is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
The Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, located on the west bank of Luxor. They once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple and are famous for their impressive size and grandeur.
Leave the hotel in Luxor and travel by train to Aswan. Enjoy a tour of the highlights of Aswan. Your first stop will be at the Temple of Philae, a picturesque landmark in Aswan dedicated to the goddess Isis, reached via a short motorboat ride. Then, visit the High Dam in Aswan, built between 1960-1970, which provided the country with water storage for farming and development. Explore the granite quarry and the unfinished obelisk. Finally, take a sailboat to Elephantine Island. Overnight in Aswan.

Philae Temple
Philae Temple is located in Aswan on an island in the Nile River and is one of Egypt’s most beautiful ancient temples. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was completely relocated to Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam to save it from flooding.
High Dam
The High Dam is located in Aswan, southern Egypt, and is considered one of the most important engineering achievements of the 20th century.
It was constructed between 1960 and 1970 to control the flooding of the Nile River, store water, and generate hydroelectric power.
The dam protects Egypt from floods and droughts and created Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.
After meeting your guide at the hotel, the drive to Abu Simbel is about 4 hours early in the morning. The village known as Abu Simbel in Aswan has the two massive rock temples of Ramses II. Never miss the chance if you have enough time to visit this great archaeological site. A 4-hour drive from Aswan will take you to explore the Great Temple of Ramses II dedicated to Ra-Horakhty, and the smaller temple of his wife Nefertari dedicated to Hathor. The temples were carved from the mountainside around 1200 B.C. Enjoy the visit with your Egyptologist guide, who will explain the history and relocation of the temples as well as the king’s victory in the Battle of Kadesh. Learn about the history of the two temples and the stories on the wall reliefs with your private tour guide. After the tour ends, you will return to Aswan train station.

Abu Simbel Temple
The Abu Simbel Temple is one of the greatest ancient Egyptian monuments, built by King Ramses II in the 13th century BC to honor himself and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The temple is famous for its massive rock-cut statues and was relocated in the 1960s to save it from Lake Nasser’s rising waters.

Spend a wonderful day in the beautiful coastal city of Alexandria. The drive from Cairo to Alexandria takes about 3 hours through the desert road. Once you arrive in the city, start with the Catacombs. This Roman subterranean tomb dates back to the 1st century A.D. and shows the great influence of Egyptian mythology and burial customs on the Romans. Descend 75 feet to see the impressive mixture of both Egyptian and Roman art. After navigating the maze and complicated layout of the tomb, head upstairs and enjoy the Mediterranean breeze at the Fort of Qaitbay. The fort was built on Pharos Island where the Great Lighthouse of Alexandria once stood. From atop the fort, enjoy the view of the blue sea and the city of Alexandria. Finally, visit the modern Library of Alexandria, a revival of the ancient one built by Ptolemy I. Explore the different exhibits and the latest technologies in this great center of culture and knowledge. Before driving back to Cairo, do not forget to have fresh seafood for lunch (upon your request). This is the best type of food you can have there.

The Catacombs
The Catacombs, also known as Kom El-Shaqafa Catacombs, are located in Alexandria and are one of the most important archaeological sites combining ancient Egyptian, Roman, and Greek cultures.
They consist of underground tombs decorated with carvings and statues depicting daily life and religious beliefs of ancient Egyptians.
The catacombs are a remarkable tourist destination for those interested in history and ancient archaeology.
Fort of Qaitbay
The Fort of Qaitbay is located in Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast and is one of Egypt’s most prominent historical forts.
It was built in the 15th century by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay to protect the city from naval attacks.
The fort features high walls and pointed towers and offers stunning views of the sea and the old harbor.
Library of Alexandria
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, or Modern Library of Alexandria, is located on the Mediterranean coast in Alexandria. It is one of Egypt’s most important cultural landmarks. Opened in 2002, it revives the spirit of the ancient Library of Alexandria, which was a center of knowledge in antiquity. The library houses millions of books in multiple languages, along with museums, exhibition halls, and research centers, making it a global hub of culture and learning.
